Currently a co-researcher on a project funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) on global constitutionalism and international investment law, Emily researches issues of dispute resolution, public international law, and language. Her doctoral project examined the application of the principle of good faith by international investment tribunals. She has a JD from Hamline University School of Law and an MA in European Studies from Jagiellonian University. She has previously worked on international energy disputes as a member of a legal team.
