Conference “Gender Equality and Mobility: Challenges and Opportunities for Development in the Lusophony”

Project Abstract

The theme of this conference has been chosen from Objective 5 of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (Gender Equality) which fits in with activities that Nova Direito has been developing.

The conference aims to promote the debate about subjects surrounding Gender Equality and Mobility, in which mobility challenges (migration, displacement and internal fluxes) faced by women and girls will stand out. At the same time, it aims to reflect about these women and girls’ opportunities for human development, as well as the possibilities to contribute for the host location’s development.
