Conference “Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions: A Path for Sustainable Development”

Project Abstract

The theme of this conference has been chosen from Objective 16 of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions) which fits in with activities that CEDIS has been developing about Education for Peace.

This gathering aims to promote the debate about violence areas, access to justice as a form of development, combat to corruption and organized crime, governance to peace, equality faced education, integration and non-discrimination and sustainable development.

 

Project Objectives

- Gather experts from the Lusophony to debate about Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions through an Educational perspective in the reality of the Portuguese-speaking countries.

- Promote the debate about violence areas, access to justice as a form of development, combat to corruption and organized crime, governance to peace, equality faced education, integration and non-discrimination and sustainable development.
