o direito internacional humanitário face às novas realidades do conceito de guerra

RESUMO

O presente trabalho visa que seja feita uma reflexão sobre a importância do Direito Internacional Humanitário nos conflitos armados. Irei debruçar-me também sobre as constantes evoluções do conceito de Guerra e ainda sobre o papel que o Direito Internacional Humanitário poderia desempenhar face à violência crescente e presentemente incontrolável dos apelidados “novos conflitos” que surgiram nos anos 90 do século XX após o fim da Guerra Fria.

The International Humanitarian Law against the evolution of the War concept

ABSTRACT

This work aims for a reflection about the importance of International Humanitarian Law in armed conflicts. I will also focus on the incessant evolution of the concept of War and on the role that Humanitarian International Law could play in relation to increasing violence, and uncontrollable, of the called “new coflits” that surfaced in the 90s (XX century) after the end of the cold war.
